Job Description
Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client in Craigavon to recruit a Welder/Fabricator Supervisor.
1. Coordinate workload requirements with the Senior Fabricator and Fabrication Coordinator.
2. Read and understand pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
3. Fabricate pipe sets for various diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipes ranging from 65mm to 500mm) from shop drawings.
4. Ensure adherence to company welding procedures and correct pipe preparation and fit-up standards.
5. Regularly liaise with line managers regarding defects, safety issues, and non-conformances.
6. Ensure work progresses in a timely manner according to workload and specifications.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Previous MIG and TIG welding experience.
* Previous fabrication experience.
* Previous supervisory experience.
