Overview
We are recruiting for a Database Administration - Hepatology for a 12-month period based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, working with the Hepatology Team to support the Liver Surveillance Programme and robust Liver Surveillance registry. The role involves identifying patients for inclusion on the LSP, including those who have failed to attend or are lost to follow-up, populating the mandatory field templates in relation to the Eclipse portal, and ensuring patients are added to the registry with all relevant details. The successful candidate will have access to local hospital patient administration systems and data to identify appropriate patients and add newly identified patients to the LSP as identified by the local service. You will also contact patients who are lost to follow-up or disengaged with the LSP to support their re-engagement with the surveillance programme.
Responsibilities
* Identify patients that should be on the LSP registry but are not currently listed, including those who have failed to attend or are lost to follow-up.
* Populate the mandatory field template in the Eclipse portal to ensure the named patient is added to the portal with all relevant details.
* Work with the hepatobiliary service to ensure all eligible patients are listed on the LSP registry.
* Access local hospital patient administration systems to identify appropriate patients and add newly identified patients to the LSP.
* Contact patients who are lost to follow-up or disengaged with LSP and support their return to the surveillance programme.
