The Druids is looking for 2–3 confident, personality-led entertainment hosts to run our in-house events.
We're a premium late-night bar with a daytime café feel and an evening cocktail vibe. We're looking to host everything from pub quizzes and bingo to craft nights and karaoke — and we want hosts who can bring the room together and make it memorable.
What You'll Be Doing
* Hosting one or some of the following events: pub quizzes, bingo/musical bingo, games nights, craft clubs, karaoke
* Engaging the crowd and keeping energy balanced
* Managing timing and structure of events
* Using a microphone and basic PA system
* Helping develop new event ideas
This isn't just reading off a sheet. We're looking for people who can:
* Hold attention without shouting
* Be funny without being awkward
* Keep things organised without killing the vibe
* Read a room and adapt
What We're Looking For
* Confident communicator with natural presence
* Reliable and punctual
* Comfortable working evenings and weekends
* Experience in hosting, performing, teaching, or events is preferred but not essential
* Good sense of humour (non-negotiable)
Bonus if you:
* Can write your own quiz content - however we have software available to help
* Have a hobby or niche interest you could build an event around
* Have experience hosting in pubs or bars

We're hiring 2–3 hosts with different personalities and strengths — so if you're more witty and dry than loud and shouty, that's absolutely fine.
May suit performance students or new drag acts to start building experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
