An exciting opportunity to be part of the fabulous Cabana family! Our stunning restaurant is in need of an Assistant Manager. Cabana is the home of the mighty flame-grilled Spicy Malagueta Chicken! Our restaurants are Latin American inspired known for fabulous grills and cocktails delivered in a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere! We are ideally looking for an Assistant Manager who: · Assist the general manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth service flow · Supervise and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment · Provide guidance and training to ensure all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards · Oversee operations, ensuring guests are seated promptly, orders are taken accurately, and service excellence · Assist in stock management, including ordering, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste · Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest · Assist in scheduling staff effectively to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs · Outgoing, dedicated to their role and keen to build and grow an enthusiastic and hardworking team · Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations at all times · Help to maintain restaurant cleanliness and sanitation standards, including regular inspections and coordination with cleaning staff · Has a high level of organization in the workplace and strong management skills · Are available full time and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays · Have a good personality and a positive and enthusiastic attitude · Is consistent and reliable and an excellent team player Ability to demonstrate our Core Values; We care, we see you, we’ve got your back We innovate, we impress!
