This team is at the heart of Daily Mails growth strategy and you would help push the team further in the creation of agenda setting work. As a senior designer you would help lead the junior members of the team and set an example to them in the creation of digital-first news graphics. What we are looking for: Experience designing for a news room environments Proven record of creating engaging and immersive visual stories Knowledge of font-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JS) A clear eye for design and detail Proficiency in Adobe suite Knowledge of data viz and GIS (Fourish, Datawrapper QGIS etc) Mapping languages (MapLibre, Mapbox) Knowledge of Figma A person should be: Able to handle stress in a fast paced environment Work well under pressure/time constraints Be open and approachable Collaborate with wider news room (Editors, picture desk, video desk)
