Responsibilities
* As a Fitter or Advanced Fitter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation of fire sprinkler systems to the highest standards. You’ll lead by example, mentoring and guiding improvers and fitters’ mates while fostering a culture of learning and teamwork.
* Ensure strict compliance with RAMS, COSHH, and all relevant health and safety protocols.
* Manage site materials, tools, and plant equipment effectively.
* Read and interpret technical drawings accurately, complete all necessary site documentation, and support other departments to maintain a positive and productive team environment.
* Represent the company professionally on-site and ensure inductions are completed before each project begins.
* Report issues to the Labour or Project Manager, and order materials through the correct channels.
* Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay aligned with company standards and expectations.
What You’ll Need
* A valid UK driver’s license (1+ years experience)
* Proven experience in fire sprinkler system installation.
* Ability to lead, train, and support junior team members.
* Strong understanding of site safety and documentation.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A proactive, professional, and courteous attitude.
What We Offer
* Hourly Rate: £15.00–£19.00 (based on experience)
* Annual EOT Bonus – share in our success!
* Overtime – enhanced daily rates
* Annual Leave: 30 days to start (incl. bank holidays), increasing with service
