Job Description
Salary: £25,000 basic - realistic OTE of £50,000 (uncapped commission)
Location: Nelson
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30, 37.5 hours a week
You’ll proactively reach out to an established portfolio of customers to identify energy needs, pitch solutions (e.g., electricity, gas, renewables), and close deals. This is a B2B outbound sales position, with a clear path to uncapped earnings and growth in a fast-paced industry, with a growing base to sell to. Deals on the day are the expectation, with a high productivity output and close ratio.

Key responsibilities:
* Conduct outbound calls to existing customers—identify opportunities to cross-sell, Energy packages to complement their existing Daisy services.
* Qualify customers by understanding current energy usage, tariff plans, and satisfaction levels and present alternative quotes over the phone to close sales.
* Develop and present tailored energy proposals (cost savings, sustainability benefits)
* Achieve daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and revenue targets
* Maintain accurate records using CRM: call logs, pipeline stages, forecasts
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations (GDPR, energy licensing standards)
* Collaborate with internal and external teams (marketing, vendors) to ensure seamless service delivery
* Adhere to company policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
* Resolve queries within industry/department lead timescale.
* Be vigilant for possible fraudulent activity and if necessary raise a security incident report using the template accessible via the corporate Intranet.
* Periodically review Daisy Security Policies – centrally hosted on the Intranet - to ensure full compliance with current legal, regulatory and company requirements.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in proactive outbound business to business sales.
* Experience within a highly KPI driven environment
* Utilities or Energy Experience an advantage but not a necessity for someone willing to learn.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly
* Strong negotiation and persuasion skills; resilient under objection handling
* Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
* Proficient in CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools
* Self-motivated, organised, with the ability to manage a high-volume outbound pipeline
* Proven track record in accurate pipeline management
