Overview:
Are you looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor role? Interested in working for a leading Construction Company? VANRATH is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within the Building Maintenance department for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 + company car / fuel / benefits package

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Financial Management: Manage project budgets, forecasts, financial reports, cost control, and cash collection. Provide insights to maximise profitability.
2. Contract Administration: Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, variations, and legal compliance.
3. Procurement & Tendering: Lead procurement, evaluate bids, select subcontractors, ensure value for money.
4. Cost Valuation & Reporting: Conduct valuations, manage payments, prepare final accounts, and financial reporting.
5. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and contractual risks.
Ideal Candidate:
* Degree qualified or relevant qualification
* Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Proven senior responsibility for high-value projects
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and practices
* Advanced knowledge of contract law, regulations, and safety
* Excellent commercial, negotiation, and communication skills
* Social Housing or maintenance experience preferred
* Good IT skills and ability to work under pressure
