Role Summary / Purpose
1. The Digital Product Owner – Package is responsible for driving the scalable product design and development of the designated product/s across all digital streams
2. Ensure product design adheres to underwriting requirements and strategic digital objectives
3. Drive end-to-end digital product lifecycle to achieve business outcomes aligned with strategic priorities and corresponding OKRs
4. Lead a multidisciplinary squad to deliver high quality work product (., software, analytics, business intelligence, data product) via faster/shorter iterative cycles
5. Drive decision-making and remove impediments to squad’s progress by influencing key stakeholders, engaging with other POs to manage interdependencies, and escalating issues appropriately

6. Ownership of the designated product/s business requirements across multiple digital streams, including but not limited to Duck Creek, EXP and OneHub
7. Ensure product design is robust and adaptable for future growth, prioritising excellence in customer experience, underwriting and efficiency
8. Collaborate closely with underwriting teams to align product features with business needs including scalability
9. Responsibility for working across Underwriting and within the Enablement Operating Model (. with other Product Owners, Engineering, Actuarial, Data for example) to deliver digital outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
10. Own sub-set of product lifecycle, including visioning, research & data gathering, planning, execution, and measurement; accountable for the quality of work product and overall outcomes produced by the multidisciplinary squad throughout the lifecycle
11. Develop, prioritize and maintain the product roadmap and squad backlog to drive speed-to-market and business impact
12. Articulate opportunities and design target journeys and solutions, balancing multi-disciplinary inputs and competing stakeholder priorities with achieving business outcomes
13. Monitor dependencies and risks, and actively work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate or resolve
14. Provide needs clarity, support solutioning & release planning, and collaborate in providing quality assurance during build and testing of the product capabilities
15. Facilitate product demos and launches; advocating and communicating value to users and stakeholders
16. Measure and track performance of key metrics in line with the OKRs; generate insights and feed back into the roadmap and delivery
17. Scribe experience and process-focused user stories in alignment with the digital-first ways of working story writing and ownership model
18. Continuously identify areas of opportunities for the squad and provide input into sprint reviews and retrospectives
19. Build and maintain relationships and collaborate effectively on an on-going basis with cross-functional stakeholders intra and inter domain
20. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
21. Identify development needs and provide product mentorship and coaching to the squad
22. Underwriting background essential; preferable across both Property and Casualty – within a digital environment; a plus.
23. Working knowledge in one or more aspects of product development, including solution design, SDLC management, agile principles and programming concepts
24. Knowledge of Chubb’s digital-first operating model and its application to the product management discipline
25. Understanding of data and analytics driven decision making and feedback loops into product development
26. Experience of using AI within daily ways of working
27. Ability to provide hands-on direction and day-to-day execution ownership in a multidisciplinary team
28. Relevant knowledge and understanding of business objectives to align with product vision
29. Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically; Also, an empathic approach to understand user needs and motivations
30. Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable in engaging with senior leadership
31. Ability to effectively identify and manage needs of a broad range of stakeholders
32. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and handle unexpected challenges that arise within projects, adapting quickly and effectively
