The Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a
Exhibition Sales Manager
to join a UK-based events and media company renowned for its large-scale trade exhibitions, conferences, and digital content across sectors including security, fire safety, health & safety, emergency services, manufacturing, construction, and technology. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Wimbledon, offering the chance to work in a highly creative, innovative, and internationally recognised company.
As a
Exhibition Sales Manager
, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through sponsorship and exhibition space sales. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Managing Directors to implement ambitious strategies that maximise revenue, drive growth, and elevate exhibitions to the next level. You will manage client relationships, respond to enquiries, write compelling proposals, and deliver tailored sponsorship solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver sales of exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities.
* Achieve individual and team targets, including daily KPIs.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to build a strong pipeline.
* Attend client meetings to understand needs and present tailored solutions.
* Manage relationships throughout the show cycle to build trust and ensure clients maximise the value of their investment.
* Plan and prioritise sales activities to nurture and grow client relationships.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in event sales; delegate or sponsorship sales is essential.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams while taking ownership of personal objectives.
Salary & Benefits:
* £35,000-£42,000 per annum,+ 40% OTE (paid monthly, uncapped).
