We're expanding our UK market presence and are looking for a motivated Key Account Manager to help drive this growth. If you’re passionate about sales, have a proven track record, and are looking for a new challenge, this role could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of accounts, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
* Handle customer interactions via calls, emails, and online chats, supporting the wider team.
* Process orders, quotes, and other customer requests efficiently.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
* Address and resolve customer issues promptly, providing tailored solutions.
* Identify opportunities to upsell and expand account growth
* Collaborating with the sales team to maximise profit by up-selling or cross-selling
* Represent the business at trade shows where needed
* Conduct audits and business reviews during visits to key customers as needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a sales-focused role.
* Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to thrive under pressure and solve problems proactively.
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
* Experience with Sage platforms (desirable).
* Comfortable working with CRM systems (training provided)
* A keen eye for detail with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
* Within commutable distance to our Pocklington Head Office
