Financial Controller, North Lincolnshire
Your new company Hays Senior Finance is working with a dynamic organisation seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function and provide high-quality financial insight to support strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, KPIs and board‑level commentary across a small group of companies.
* Budget, forecast and conduct variance analysis.
* Manage working capital and oversee accounts payable, receivable and payroll processes.
* Prepare detailed financial statements, support audit activities and ensure full statutory compliance.
* Improve financial processes and enhance reporting efficiency through systems.
* Partner with operational teams to drive performance and profitability.
* Manage a team of 4.
Qualifications
* Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
* Significant experience in a similar role.
* Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
* Ability to influence decision‑making across the business.
* Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills.
* Proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
