Science Teacher – Secondary

Salary: M1–UPS3
Start Date: January / April 2026 (or sooner)
Contract: Full-Time
We are looking for a passionate Science Teacher to inspire secondary students in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching practice in a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons (KS3–4, KS5 optional).
* Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
* Differentiate lessons to meet diverse student needs.
* Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Promote practical inquiry through experiments and hands-on activities.
* Maintain positive classroom management and support extracurricular Science initiatives.
Requirements of a Science Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science, PGCE, CertEd, or PTTLS.
* Secondary teaching experience with knowledge of the national curriculum.
* Strong classroom management skills and ability to inspire students.
* Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
* Enhanced DBS (registered or willing to apply).
