This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well established, fast growing accountancy practice in Bolton. This role will play a key part in managing the practices internal finance function & will also be a mentor to more junior members of staff.

Description
Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements on relevant accounting software (Xero, QB, Sage etc).
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Prepare and file VAT returns.
Provide support to our team of accountants, as needed.
Ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations and legislation.
Maintain confidential financial information.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Assist with producing the management accounts pack - balance sheet, P&L, journals etc.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
* Be actively studying AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
* Have a proven track record in a similar role.
* Have working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Have an understanding of accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage etc.
* Be an excellent written and verbal communicator.
