Workforce & Organisational Development Adviser - 2-Year Fixed Term
We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team on a two-year fixed-term contract, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and growth of our Children’s Social Care Services. In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinating and managing social work student placements
* Supporting the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme for Newly Qualified Social Workers
* Promoting progression and development opportunities across the service
* Lead and contribute to events like Practice Week and World Social Work Day.
What You’ll Need:
* Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.
* Interest in learning themes such as childhood trauma, neglect, and domestic abuse.
* Strong organisational skills and emotional resilience.
Workforce & Organisational Development Adviser – 1 Year Maternity Cover
We’re looking for a proactive, people-centred Workforce & Organisational Development Adviser to join us on a one-year fixed-term contract (maternity cover). In this role, you’ll work closely with a range of essential front-line services, including:
* Highways and Waste Services
* Street Scene and Fleet
* Environmental Services
* Property and Assets
* School Catering and Cleaning
You’ll play a key role in supporting these teams by identifying learning needs, ensuring compliance with mandatory training, and helping to build the skills needed for future success.
What You’ll Need:
* Experience in navigating and understanding the operational realties of front-line service when designing learning solutions
* Experience in delivering learning in a classroom-based setting, as well as the creation of blended, bite size learning packages
* A can-do attitude and a desire to embed a learning culture

Essential Criteria
* Holds a Level 3 or higher qualification in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or a related field.
* Demonstrates experience designing and delivering blended or digital learning programmes with measurable outcomes.
* Demonstrated involvement in at least one organisational development or change initiative.
* Experience using learning data or people metrics to evaluate impact or inform learning strategies.
* Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior managers.
* Experience supporting workforce planning, talent development, or succession planning initiatives.
