We are seeking a nursery room leader. You must be qualified to a minimum of a level 3 nursery practitioner qualification to apply.
We require minimum of one of the following qualifications:-
* CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education and above
* BTEC National Diploma in Early Years
* NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, learning and development or above
* NNEB Certificate
* The ideal candidate should be able to work in partnership with the manager and deputy manager to ensure the daily running of the Baby Room effectively.
* Good computer skills are required.
Ensure the calm, smooth running of the room and the delegation of roles to staff as appropriate. Model and support high quality interactions which extends children's learning and thinking as well as supervise and support all staff to provide high quality learning environment and interactions with children. To plan, prepare and participate in a range of activities that promotes each child's physical, intellectual and emotional needs to enable each child to reach their full potential. Monitor the activities planned for children within your room, the suitability for each child and the quality of the activity when taking place, give feedback to staff about this. To maintain an Action Plan for the development of your classroom including the physical environment as well as procedures and processes. Provide daily feedback to parents through the nursery portal Famly.
