Tenancy Sustainment Worker Location: Exeter Rate: £15.34 per hour Contract: Full-time (37 hours per week) Permanent Hours: Between 8:00am - 10:00pm on a rolling rota (Monday-Sunday)We are currently recruiting for a Tenancy Sustainment Worker to join a supported accommodation service in Exeter, helping young people build the skills and confidence needed to live independently.The RoleYou will provide key worker support to vulnerable people, helping them develop life skills and sustain their tenancies while working towards independent living. The role involves working as part of a supportive team within a residential setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one key worker support for young people in supported accommodationDevelop and review support plans, risk assessments and risk management plansHelp young people build life skills and maintain their tenanciesSupport individuals to access relevant services, education, and opportunitiesWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamMaintain accurate records and documentationEnsure all work is carried out in line with safeguarding policies and proceduresRequirementsAbility to engage and build rapport with young peopleUnderstanding of support planning, safeguarding, and mental health awarenessExperience or understanding of risk assessment and risk managementFull UK driving licenceAbility to work flexibly on a rota including evenings and weekendsComfortable with short periods of lone workingIdeal CandidateCreative and person-centred approach to supportResilient, flexible and proactiveStrong organisation and communication skillsAbility to manage a caseload and prioritise tasksPositive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young people Please note: An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role due to the nature of the work.
