We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing and well-established organisation in the Cookstown area. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing finance professional to gain broad exposure within a busy finance function and build on their existing experience. Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will assist in the preparation of financial information and help support day-to-day accounting activities across the business. Benefits: £35,000 - £40,000 Company pension On-site parking 28 days leave Early finish Friday Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and performance reports Supporting year-end processes and audit requirements Processing accruals, prepayments, and internal recharges Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure tracking Completing bank reconciliations and assisting with finance agreements Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other compliance reporting Assisting with regular reporting (e.g. surveys, trade returns) and contributing to process improvements Requirements: Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (3+ years preferred) Part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional qualification (e.g. CIMA / ACCA / ACA), or willingness to study Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and financial systems Good communication skills and a collaborative approach Apply below or get in touch with Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital for full details.
