A vacancy has arisen at NWCC Secondary for a Teacher who will focus on facilitating intervention opportunities for learners to raise attainment, primarily in the BGE.
We welcome interest from suitably experienced and registered secondary or primary registered applicants. This is a temporary, part-time position (0.4 FTE) for one session commencing August 2026.
This position may be suitable for secondment; line management approval should be sought before applying.
The post is part of Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or The Bridge, delivering courses as part of the BGE and/or senior phase curriculum to meet learners' needs.
Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the PVG scheme; preferred candidates will need to join or update the PVG scheme before employment.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK in the last 5 years must provide a police record check from the relevant authorities.
