Venn Group has been approached by a leading housing association in the North West to recruit for a Head of Property Services on a permanent basis
As the successful candidate you will have significant experience leading property services teams within the social housing sector, with a proven track record in delivering repairs, maintenance, and asset management programmes to the highest standards
Duties will include:
* Leading and managing the Repairs, Maintenance, and Asset Management teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction
* Overseeing the delivery of responsive repairs, planned investment works, and compliance programmes across the housing stock
* Managing stock condition surveys and utilising the data to inform investment planning
* Driving decarbonisation and net zero initiatives to deliver more sustainable homes
* Ensuring services meet all regulatory standards, legislative requirements, and internal KPIs
* Preparing and managing departmental budgets to achieve financial and service delivery targets
* Reporting directly to the Director of Housing Operations and providing clear leadership to surveyors, administrators, and contractors
Essential requirements:
* Relevant professional qualification or a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar senior role within property services or asset management
* Proven experience in budget preparation and financial control
* Demonstrable success in delivering repairs and maintenance programmes for residential properties
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
* Knowledge of social housing regulations and compliance requirements
* Full UK driving licence
