GBR Recruitment Limited is working exclusively with a global market leader in the personal care and well-being products industry, recruiting an experienced Events Coordinator to plan and deliver corporate sales events.
This is an excellent opportunity for an events professional or a PA/EA responsible for organizing company events.
Scope of Events: Small and large-scale corporate events, hosting from 50 to 10,000 attendees across the UK and Europe.
If you have experience in organizing B2C/B2B corporate sales events, this role could be ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute corporate events, supporting the company's expansion strategy across the UK and Europe.
* Coordinate with Market and Sales Development Managers regarding regional event plans.
* Work closely with Sales Executives to plan and execute sponsored events throughout the UK and Europe.
* Manage event plans for conferences and smaller events, liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and marketing collateral, ensuring deadlines are met and events are delivered on time (OTIF).
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful events.
* Research venues suitable for different event sizes.
* Assist with event and marketing activities.
* Support the setup and execution of events across 30+ countries in the UK and Europe.
* Represent the company at on-site events.
* Handle large event assignments and general event project management and administration.
* Manage venue bookings, liaise with guest speakers, coordinate travel and accommodation, and delegate management.
* Provide administrative support, including data entry and Excel management.
* Maintain communication with the Senior Events Manager regarding event requirements and improvement suggestions.
* Offer day-to-day support to the Senior Events Coordinator.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in event coordination and management within a corporate setting, either as an events professional or as part of a PA/EA role.
* Proven success in planning and delivering corporate events.
* Strong communication skills with peers, suppliers, and customers.
* Excellent administrative and coordination skills, capable of multitasking.
* Ability to meet deadlines and deliver OTIF.
* Intermediate IT skills, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Proactive and positive attitude with a 'can-do' approach.
* European language skills (such as Polish, Romanian, Spanish, French, Italian) are advantageous but not essential.
