Job title: WW Regulatory Assurance Manager
Location: Base anywhere within South Coast, however you will need to visit our head office in Durrington 2x days per week and remaining will be working from home on a hybrid basis

Are you passionate about driving regulatory excellence and ethical business practices? Southern Water is seeking a WW Regulatory Assurance Manager to lead a dynamic team and ensure robust first line governance and compliance across our Wastewater operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our WW Regulatory Assurance Manager, you’ll:
1. Lead and inspire a team of Governance & Assurance Leads.
2. Working closely with multiple stakeholders at senior levels within the business.
3. Provide first-line assurance on Wastewater regulatory reporting metrics and Compliance Assessment Reports and Regulatory Appeals.
4. Support the delivery of non-financial regulatory reporting and action plans.
5. Respond to regulatory data requests (EIR, S108) with precision and consistency.
6. Facilitate improvements in controls and assurance for regulatory pollution and compliance reporting.
7. Champion ethical business practices and a culture of compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
8. Manage assurance activities and regulatory appeals.
9. Lead performance reporting and MI development.
10. Collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives.
11. Deliver improvements in regulatory reporting and internal controls.
12. Support the development of best practice guides and training initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
13. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
14. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PI, PRISM, and BMA.
15. Experience in risk and assurance frameworks.
16. Knowledge of wastewater operations and regulatory environments.
17. A degree or equivalent technical experience (risk management experience desirable).
There will be a requirement to work on a rota.
