A leading care provider is seeking a visionary Director of Human Resources to shape and deliver a people-first strategy that empowers staff, drives innovation, and supports exceptional care delivery.
As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you'll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, working closely with executive colleagues to align people, culture, and performance with the organisation's mission. Your strategic vision will drive the development of People and OD strategies while embedding the organisation's values. You'll lead a talented HR team and oversee a broad portfolio including workforce planning, leadership development, employee wellbeing, and equality, diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
Shape and deliver strategic HR leadership, contributing to organisational planning and leading on staff engagement, inclusion, and assurance processes.
Develop and implement innovative People and OD strategies, including pay, reward, wellbeing, and internal communications aligned with organisational values.
Lead a high-performing HR & OD team, ensuring services are proactive, customer-focused, and aligned with operational and strategic goals.
Drive workforce planning and performance, using data and KPIs to inform decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Continuously improve HR policies and practices, ensuring legal compliance and supporting consistent, equitable application across the organisation.
Champion staff wellbeing, leading initiatives that promote a healthy, supportive, and resilient workplace culture.
Lead on equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture where everyone feels valued and respected.
What you will bring:
A senior HR professional with a demonstrable track record of experience across a broad HR remit including organisational development and change management.
Previous experience of working in the healthcare sector or not-for-profit sector is preferred.
Exceptional people leadership skills and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
A strategic thinker with the ability to develop, implement and translate strategy across an organisation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong influential working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A proven commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Chartered member of CIPD or equivalent.
