We’re recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join a growing fire safety team delivering high-quality installation, maintenance and compliance across social housing and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for supervising works and ensuring standards are met on every job. PLEASE NOTE - This is a permanent, PAYE role Key Responsibilities: * Install, repair and maintain fire doors to the highest compliance and workmanship standards across the West Midlands * Supervise and sign off completed works to ensure quality and regulatory alignment * Keep accurate records of works carried out, including updates to fire door registers * Liaise with site teams, clients and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of projects * Support audits and remedial works as part of the wider fire safety programme Requirements for the successful Fire Door Carpenter: * NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (essential) * Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire doors * Full UK driving licence (essential) * SMSTS, SSSTS or CSCS Gold Card (preferred) * Strong understanding of fire door regulations and installation standards * Excellent communication and record-keeping skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: * A company van, fuel card and tablet will be provided * Private healthcare * Rewards platform * Ongoing, industry recognised training will also be provided
