Chef de Partie (In-Flight Catering) Location: Cheadle Contract Type: Temporary (Employment Business AVTAV) Pay: £17.00 - 18.00 per hour Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days 08.00am - 17.00pm Our client is recruiting an experienced Chef for a busy airport catering and in-flight meals production kitchen based in Cheadle. This is a fast-paced, high-volume production environment where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to strict airline specifications and tight deadlines. You will work closely with the kitchen and operations team to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with food safety standards. Key Responsibilities Preparation and cooking of in-flight meals to required specifications Produce authentic Pakistani, Asian and English dishes as part of a diverse inflight menu Ensuring correct portioning, quality, and presentation standards Working to tight production schedules and deadlines Communicating effectively with Shift Managers and team members Advising stores/procurement on stock and product requirements Produce bakery items including artisan breads, pastries and desserts Maintain strict HACCP, food safety and allergen compliance at all times Candidate Requirements Minimum 3 years experience as a Chef (required) Experience in high-volume or production kitchens (airline/hotel/restaurant preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong communication skills (verbal and written English) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good organization skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills Compliance Requirements As part of the onboarding process, all applicants must be willing to undergo: 5-year employment history verification UK criminal record check (CRC) Overseas criminal record check (if applicable) Full cooperation with compliance and screening procedures Applicants who have spent more than 6 months outside the UK must provide relevant overseas criminal record checks.
