Responsibilities
* Provide training, line management, and supervision to the IDS administrative team.
* Ensure strict compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
* Offer guidance and support to the wider team across the Trust, contributing to the smooth operation of the Integrated Discharge Service and safe, timely patient discharges.
* Ensure that administration assistants receive appropriate training and ongoing development.
* Support robust service delivery in partnership with the IDS Hub administration lead, promoting integrated working across health, social care, acute and community services.
* Support national reporting, maintain data integrity, and ensure all KPIs are achieved or exceeded.
* Use continuous improvement methodologies to identify and implement appropriate service improvements.
Qualifications
* Extensive administrative experience.
* Knowledge of acute hospital discharge pathways and processes (advantage, not essential).
* Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy, demanding environment.
* Well‑organised, flexible, and positive attitude towards change.
* Effective team player, contributing to overall service success.
* Willingness to work rotationally between 8 am and 5 pm, including weekends and bank holidays; cross‑site working may be required.
