The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer located in Berkeley, MO.

As a Structural Analysis Engineer (Level 3), you will verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
Position Responsibilities:
* Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
* Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
* Guide product design and verify structural integrity through analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
* Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate systems and components meet requirements.
* Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
* Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Berkeley, MO. The candidate must be able to work onsite at this location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
* An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Confidential Clearance is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program.
* Level 3: 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's, or PhD.
* Experience performing hand calculations, using CAD systems (e.g., PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA), FEM software (ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks), and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Boeing Analysis Tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation).
* Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Person status required).
Additional Information:
Relocation assistance may be available based on eligibility. Boeing is a Drug-Free Workplace, and employment is contingent upon passing drug testing. The shift is for 1st shift. Salary range for Level 3: $95,200 - $128,800; for Level 4: $115,600 - $156,400. Applications accepted until May 10, 2025.
