Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is hiring a Senior Planner to support our Delivery team on UK Water Engineering and Construction projects. This role will play a key part in our DCWW AMP8 framework in Wales, alongside wider Design and Construct projects across England, Scotland, and Wales. With a heritage of over 100 years and projects delivered in more than 100 countries, we offer the scope to shape large-scale, meaningful infrastructure work—wherever you are based.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring contractual and procedural alignment.
* Lead planning and controls functions across multiple projects.
* Integrate suppliers’ programmes and monitor critical path and float.
* Assess programme impact related to compensation events, claims, and time extensions.
* Produce progress reports and communicate milestones and risks to management and clients.
* Support and guide junior planners, helping build our growing planning capability.
Essential Requirements
* Strong background in planning and project controls.
* Proven experience managing multi-project programme delivery.
* Exposure to multi‑disciplinary design, construct, and commissioning works—ideally within the Water sector.
* Advanced experience in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
* Degree or relevant experience within Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Desirable
* Design programme development experience.
* Water and wastewater sector knowledge.
* NEC contract familiarity.
* Earned Value Analysis.
* 4D modelling.
* Chartered status.
