The School of Chemistry teaches over 2000 undergraduates annually and offers diverse programs in chemistry.
About The Role
* Salary: $110K - $117K plus 17% Superannuation and annual leave loading
* Fixed Term – 12 months
* Full-time (35 hours/week)
The Research Associate will contribute to UNSW's research efforts, focusing on single molecule localisation microscopy combined with electrochemistry, within the ARC Discovery grant project.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage research projects on fluorescence microscopy and electrochemistry.
* Design experiments, analyze data, and disseminate findings.
* Supervise research students and collaborate with team members.
* Adhere to UNSW's Code of Conduct and health & safety policies.
Qualifications
* PhD in optical physics or cell biology, with emphasis on fluorescence microscopy.
* Expertise in fluorescence microscopy, immunolabeling, and single molecule localisation microscopy.
* Interest or experience in electrochemistry.
* Proven research ability, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
