We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness of aircraft.
As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical expertise for the maintenance and repair of aircraft systems, including the structure, engines, and mechanical systems.
Your key responsibilities will include troubleshooting, performing routine maintenance, and conducting complex inspections to meet regulatory standards and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft according to company and regulatory guidelines.
* Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
* Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft safety and compliance.
* Diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
* Complete maintenance logs and reports accurately.
* Collaborate with flight crews to ensure timely and safe aircraft return to service.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and facilities in good condition and properly calibrated.
* Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff and technicians.
* Coordinate with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.
* Stay updated on industry regulations and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
* Valid EASA Part 66 B1 License (or recognized equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, engines, landing gear, and airframes.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or repairs.
* Experience with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
* Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to safety and detail.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
* EASA Part 66 B1 License or equivalent (e.g., FAA A&P, CAA B1).
* Aircraft type ratings (e.g., Airbus, Boeing).
* Human Factors certification.
* EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) certification.
* Fuel Tank Safety certification (Level 1 and 2).
* Training on regulations like Part 145, Part M.
* Experience with multiple aircraft types and maintenance environments.
* Advanced troubleshooting certifications.
