An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Receptionist/Administrator to provide administrative support to the clinical team at our North East Lincolnshire Talking Therapies service.
The post holder will be educated to GCSE level A‑C in English and Mathematics, hold RSA/OCR 1 or equivalent in typing/word processing, and have experience working in a busy office environment with the ability to multi‑task, work to processes, and meet deadlines. They will also have experience in customer service.
Earliest start date: 06 July 2026.
Main duties of the job
Provide general administrative support to the clinical team, acting as the first point of contact for service users, families, and visitors. Process referrals, book appointments, and liaise with service users throughout the working day.
Handle telephone enquiries from service users with empathy, understanding, initiative, tact, and tenacity, ensuring accurate information is forwarded to relevant staff for appropriate care and follow‑up. Maintain service user confidentiality at all times.
Use the Clinical Database System and support its continuous review and improvement with new electronic working methods.
Job responsibilities
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Navigo policies, processes, and procedures, and work within these at all times.
Assist with administrative duties under direction from senior administration staff and undertake relevant duties as requested by management.
Use the clinic’s database system to support team requirements.
