Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, following health and safety regulations.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Complete and maintain necessary paperwork and records related to warehouse operations.
Work closely with other team members to achieve operational goals and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Forklift certification is an advantage but not essential. A full driving license is required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if required.
