Salary: Aged 21 and above: £12.82 per hour plus personal sales commission; Aged 20 and below: £10.69 per hour plus personal sales commission.

Working in retail as a Topps Tiles Sales Assistant means helping customers visualise their projects, finding just what they’re looking for to make their tiling project happen. You’ll be a valued member of a small team, supporting customers while driving store revenue, and you won’t need to work late evenings. You’ll get 3 days off over Christmas and earn commission on each sale you help make happen in store.
You’ll build relationships with regular trade customers, use your creativity to inspire customers, and gain product knowledge to offer valuable advice for trade and retail customers. No prior knowledge about tiles or retail is required; just be outgoing, friendly, have a positive attitude, and be willing to lift a few heavy boxes of tiles. The role includes training, development, and opportunities for longer-term career growth.
Due to health and safety reasons and the nature of store work, applications from those 18 or over are invited.
Responsibilities
* Engage with customers to understand their tiling needs and visualise solutions.
* Provide product knowledge and advice to both trade and retail customers.
* Drive store revenue by supporting customers through the sales process and securing sales.
* Build and maintain relationships with regular customers and trade clients.
* Assist with daily store operations and handle light lifting of tiles as required.

* Willingness to learn about tiles and retail products.
* Ability to lift and move heavy boxes as part of the role.
