Job Description
Responsible for supervising the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Front Desk and ensuring all hotel guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times.
This is a hands-on, highly customer-focused role that requires an individual who can lead by example in maintaining our team brand standards. In addition, you will:
1. Oversee all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring room allocations and check-in/out processes adhere to procedures and standards.
2. Manage and supervise staff tasks to ensure high-quality service and departmental standards.
3. Review and implement procedures.
4. Communicate with the Front Office Manager/General Manager on guest services and hotel operations.
5. Assist leadership with administrative tasks and hotel projects.
6. Supervise shift handover procedures.
7. Coordinate with other hotel departments regarding administration and operational issues.
8. Provide management presence by assisting with guest needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently.
9. Deliver an exceptional guest journey.
10. Lead shifts across departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
11. Assist in running Food & Beverage outlets.
Qualifications
* Bright, bubbly customer service style that sets you apart.
* Previous experience in the hotel industry, Assistant Manager role, or similar.
* Natural leadership skills with proven results in team development and motivation.
* Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and First Aid training.
