The role
This role can be tailored to fit your career goals. Whether you want to focus on audits, accounts, or a hybrid mix, you'll be supported by a hands-on management team. You'll work directly with clients, support junior colleagues, and take ownership of a range of assignments from planning to completion.
What you'll be doing
* Leading and supporting audits, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
* Preparing statutory financial statements for a variety of clients
* Managing on-site audit work and guiding junior team members through complex areas
* Building and developing strong client relationships
* Providing technical support and insights to colleagues and clients
* Supporting the training and development of junior staff
* Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed to a high standard
* Managing your time and workload effectively, including admin and timesheets
About you
* You're a qualified accountant (ICAS/ACCA/ACA) - part-qualified candidates will also be considered
* You've worked in an accountancy firm for at least 2 years
* You have strong experience in audit, accounts, or both
* You're proactive, team-focused, and confident working directly with clients
* You're detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
