This growing legal team is interested in speaking with UK-qualified solicitors for their HQ in South Yorkshire and offers an ideal first In-house role for someone looking to make the transition into Industry, or a lawyer who has already amassed in-house commercial experience and is looking for a positive change. The role is largely office-based, so applicants will need to be reasonably local to Sheffield and comfortable commuting to the office most days. The opportunity will suit a solicitor with some experience of commercial contracts and company law, who can work collaboratively with the Commercial and Finance departments, dealing with ad hoc day to day enquiries and take a leading role in reviewing and negotiating key contracts in relation to the group's suppliers, which will include reviewing, interpreting, drafting, amending and negotiating various types of commercial documents. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining the group's legal precedent documentation and assist with tender reviews and the provision of legal support on projects. Working alongside the GG who reports into the Board, and wider existing legal team – this is a role which offers significant access to key personnel and stakeholders, in a highly commercial and fast-paced environment. The role will offer a competitive salary and benefits package compatible with a UK-qualified solicitor of around 1-4 years PQE.
