Job purpose
:
1. To discharge the duties of Principal Designer or assist the Client / Principal Designer carry out their roles specified in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations .
Responsibilities:
2. To liaise with Clients, Designers and Contractors as required by the scheme;
3. To attend design reviews and design team meetings as required by the scheme;
4. To advise Clients, Designers, and Contractors on their duties under the regulations;
5. To attend pre-start and progress meetings as required by the scheme;
6. Familiarity with design risk management and pre-construction information collation.
7. You may be required to carry out other duties in line with your job status and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the business.

8. Proactive approach to project delivery, with the ability to anticipate issues and drive solutions.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
10. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
11. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Mobility
13. Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and client offices within the surrounding region.
14. Full UK driving licence
Essential:
15. NEBOSH General Certificate
16. A thorough understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and associated approved code of practice;
17. Previous CDM Coordination experience within a consultancy organisation;
18. Registered CDMC membership of the Association for Project Safety (RMaPS);
19. Excellent organisation and communication skills;
20. The ability to work under own initiative;
21. The ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines;
22. A good level of IT skills.
23. Driving License
Desirable:
24. NEBOSH Construction Certificate;
25. Technician Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH
