Role: 3rd Line Support Engineer Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Up to £48,000 Type: Full-time, Permanent
We're working with a fast-growing Managed Service Provider that specialises in delivering IT solutions to clients across the hospitality and events sector. With an expanding client base and a strong reputation for high-quality service, they are now looking to bring in an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to support their continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advanced 3rd line support to a range of external clients, both remotely and client-facing
* Act as the technical escalation point for complex infrastructure, networking, and cloud-related issues
* Take ownership of incidents through to resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations
* Work directly with clients, building strong relationships and delivering a high standard of service
* Support the planning, design, and implementation of core infrastructure and cloud projects (particularly Azure migrations and deployments)
* Lead on technical project delivery where required, ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard
* Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for client environments and internal processes
* Assist in mentoring and supporting 1st/2nd line engineers
Key Skills & Experience:
UK Driving License Required
* Strong experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment
* Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (deployments, migrations, administration)
* Strong networking skills, including configuration and troubleshooting of:
* Cisco routers and switches
* DrayTek firewalls
* Good understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and virtualisation technologies
* Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
