These two very English villages and their surrounding patchwork quilt of fields, woodland spinney, water meadow and parkland, are just perfect for relaxing and exploring. The estate is also home to the National Trust Heritage and Rural Skills Centre, a centre to champion skills from the past, fit for the future, through a programme of events and courses. The Buscot & Coleshill Estate is also home to one of the National Trusts 19 Children & Young People Hubs, supporting 0 – 25 year olds in experiencing nature, heritage and beauty. Click here for more information about this locationWorking with the team you'll create and deliver a programme of events and activities that support our Saturday Club scheme, which enables young people to experience heritage and rural skills across the estate, including understanding out nature restoration projects. Your work will be vital in bringing our places to life and linking the scheme back to our cause and the ongoing work we do. This 3 year fixed-term project role, will be supporting the design and delivery of Buscot & Coleshill, Craft and Making and Society and Change Saturday Clubs, run in partnership with National Saturday Club. This role is required to work with vulnerable groups including children and any offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. This role is fixed-term and annualised, this means that you will receive the same salary each month, but your weekly hours during the year will vary to suit the needs of the project. On average this will be around two days per week, including Saturdays. For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role. You’ll assist in the delivery and development of a programme of activities and events. By doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.
