Job Title: Commissioning Project Leader – Electrical

What you’ll be doing:
* Responsible for leading a team of Electrical Engineers in the Integrated Systems test Section
* Review and plan training and development of electrical engineers within the section
* Responsible for planning and supervising commissioning activities
* Reviewing and authoring test documentation in relation to the Integrated Systems test Section (AVC & PMS)
* Responsible for overseeing Electrical Rip outs for the Integrated Systems test Section
* Deputise for the Integrated Systems test Section manager in their absence and act as temporary lead, covering all Integrated Systems test Section meetings
* Liaise with other test departments to ensure safe control of work
* Act as the lead Engineer, Carrying out commissioning on Integrated Systems test Section systems (AVC & PMS) On Dreadnought submarines and off boat test rigs
Your skills and experiences:
* Knowledge of either commissioning or maintenance within a similar industrial environment
* Experience of working on PLC Systems
* Good understanding and experience of Safe Systems of Work
* Experience of reviewing electrical and technical documentation and drawings
* Previous Team leader / Supervisory experience
* Ideally have a min of HNC in an Electrical Engineering subject
* Review and approval of electrical isolations (Rip-Out/Tag-outs)
* Experience of SAP & TeamCenter

The Test & Commissioning Team:
As a Commissioning Project Leader – Electrical, you will be responsible for commissioning of all Integrated Systems test Section systems on Dreadnought submarines. You will be Managing daily commissioning activities of the team and reporting into the commissioning manager. In this role you will you have the opportunity to work across multiple platforms giving you exposure to different systems and technologies.You will be given lots of training to develop further within your career.
