SEN Teaching Assistant – EYFS

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Reception (EYFS) class at a welcoming primary school in Fleetwood. This role will begin after the Easter break on Monday 13th April and offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact on young learners at a crucial stage in their development.
About the Role
You will be working within an EYFS classroom, supporting children with Special Educational Needs. This may include:
* One-to-one support
* Small group interventions
* Supporting communication, engagement, and social development
* Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
This position is ideal for someone with a warm, patient, and proactive approach, particularly those with experience in early years or supporting children with additional needs.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience supporting children with SEN (autism, speech & language needs, developmental delay, etc.)
* Understands the EYFS curriculum or has a passion for early years education
* Is calm, compassionate, and child-centred
* Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
