An opportunity has arisen for a motivated andmercially focused Juniormercial Property Solicitor (newly qualified up to 3 years’ PQE) to join a busymercial property team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high‑quality work and develop their skills within a supportive professional environment.
Typical responsibilities include:
1. Handling secured lending transactions and property finance work (essential)
2. Managing acquisitions and disposals ofmercial property
3. Drafting and negotiating leases on behalf of landlords and tenants
4. Assisting with development matters, site acquisition & due diligence
5. Supporting senior lawyers onplex or large-scale transactions
Suitable candidates will:
6. Be qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ–3 PQE)
7. Have demonstrable experience in secured lending work
8. Be capable of managing a caseload with appropriate supervision
9. Possess strong attention to detail andmercial awareness
10. Be confident in building and maintaining client relationships
11. Enjoy working collaboratively within a team setting
12. Exposure to a wide range ofmercial property matters
