Medical Typist

We are looking for a Medical Typist to join our team.
You will need to have very solid keyboard skills to undertake this role, preferably with a qualification of audio typing or copy typing or demonstrable experience typing high volumes of notes or documents.
You do not need to have experience in medical typing as you will be trained in clinical dictation in a variety of specialities, developing a wealth of knowledge of medical terminology.

Main duties of the job
* Audio typing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
* An understanding of medical terminology is desirable and advantageous, though training will be provided together with training on the Digital Dictation system.

Qualifications
* Good general education i.e. GCSE level including English & Maths or equivalent
* AMSPAR level 2
Experience
* Administrative & typing experience
* Experience of working in a fast paced environment demonstrated through work history and supporting information
* RSE or equivalent experience
* NHS experience
