Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you prefer to work fewer hours (minimum 12), we have opportunities for that too and would love to hear from you.
The table shows the preferred availability periods during the week. We will schedule your hours within these times and provide 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We are flexible and open to hearing about closely matching availability times. Click here to read more.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do.
As the face of Tesco on the road, delivering from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, our Customer Delivery Drivers meet and talk to customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving: it’s about helping others and delivering excellent service with a smile.
This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same. Customers seek help in many ways. Most of your day, you’ll be your own boss, delivering to customers, with support from managers and colleagues back at base.
Whether you seek flexibility, job stability, or a career change, everyone is welcome at Tesco.
