We Do What We Say and We Care
That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done and who appreciate their role in helping others to be successful.
We couldn’t do the work we do without the dedicated support of our office-based administrators, planners and coordinators. These are the people who enable our success every single day, wherever we’re working and whatever the weather.
The Role
Our Administrators across the business are usually dedicated to a particular team or functional area. Work priorities and activities may vary depending on where you are based, although the roles are often similar – telephones to answer, queries to be resolved, follow up documentation to be sent and systems to be updated.
We have an opportunity for a Streetworks Coordinator, with a strong work ethic and high regard for safety and performance, to join our team. As a Streetworks Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with current legislation, managing streetworks notices, and fostering positive relationships with local authorities.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
Prepare, submit, and update streetworks notices in adherence to current legislation.
Record and manage data using work management systems.
Provide timely updates to clients through various communication channels, ensuring client satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with local authorities, opening and closing permits using streetworks systems, and ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Streetworks Act (NRSWA).
Liaise with operational teams to ensure all necessary paperwork and notices are in place for project commencement.
Regularly communicate with local authorities to build and maintain lasting relationships.
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
A proactive "can-do" attitude and be willing to offer support to team members as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft packages and excellent communication skills in email, phone and face to face are also required, with the ability to work independently. Effective prioritisation skills and excellent time management are essential to meet deadlines. The candidate should be comfortable working in a busy environment under pressure.
Desirable qualifications include previous experience in a similar role within the utilities industry. A good knowledge of NRSWA legislation is desirable, and experience using Streetworks permitting systems such as Street Manager and Insight is also preferred.
