Overview
CUH is looking for well organised and committed individuals to join the Procurement Team to support as Material Handlers.
This is generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 18:00 service; however, we run a 24/7 service and you may be required to change times to suit the service needs and demands. As a Materials Handler you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities and replenishment of stock across the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Activities will include ordering, picking goods from the stores, receipting and putting away the stock in the different locations within the Trust.
* You must have good attention to detail for daily stock counts, good housekeeping and be able to work in a small team environment.
* The role entails both manual and moving handling, including bending, climbing and moving equipment.
* You will also be providing an interface between the procurement department and other departments internal to the Trust.
