We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Product Specialist to join our clients team, responsible for covering South England region. This role will involve extensive travel and overnight stays to effectively serve clients and foster relationships within the Agricultural sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business development and account management efforts, contributing to the company's growth while maximising sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and cover South England region, ensuring efficient scheduling and travel arrangements to meet client needs.
2. Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their unique requirements and offering tailored product solutions.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Agricultural sector, utilising market knowledge to expand the company's customer base.
4. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's product offerings, staying updated on industry trends and competitor activity.
5. Effectively communicate product benefits and features to potential clients, demonstrating value propositions and negotiating terms to secure sales.
6. Maintain regular contact with clients, addressing any concerns, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering long-term partnerships.
7. Undertake extensive travel across the assigned territory, including overnight stays as required to ensure client needs are met effectively.
8. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and travel-related expenses, providing timely reports to management.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to share insights from the field, contributing to product development strategies and marketing initiatives.
10. Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the achievement of company revenue goals.
11. Stay updated on industry advancements, attending relevant workshops, training, and seminars to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
12. Previous experience within the Agricultural sector is essential.
13. Proven track record in business development and account management.
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients.
15. Exceptional negotiation and sales abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
16. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
17. Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight as needed.
18. Full clean driving license is required.
19. Proficiency in MS Office suite for reporting and communication.
Remuneration:
20. Salary: £40, - £45, per annum (dependent on experience).
21. Commission structure to incentivise sales performance.
22. Company van provided for business-related travel.
23. Additional benefits and allowances as per company policy.
