About the Role
Our client is hiring an experiencedMobile Air Conditioning Engineerto join their team, providing maintenance and repair services for high street retail and banking clients. This is a field-based role covering Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
You’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing various air conditioning systems including split AC, VRV/VRF, and heat pumps. Occasional refrigeration work (chilled cabinets, multidecks, ice machines) may also be required.
What You’ll Do
* Carry out maintenance and repairs on air conditioning and HVAC systems
* Work with equipment from top manufacturers like Daikin, Mitsubishi, Midea, Toshiba, and LG
* Troubleshoot issues independently and liaise with manufacturers when needed
* Complete service reports and documentation accurately
* Adhere to Health & Safety and safe working procedures
* Participate in an on-call rota
* Perform physical tasks, including manual handling and working at heights or in confined spaces
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a similar role within building maintenance or facilities management
* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* Good communication skills and experience using handheld devices (PDA/tablet)
