This role supports category plans and growth campaigns to increase market share, drive revenue, and help our customers make their lives easier while growing their businesses.
You will provide the Category Team with invaluable insight into market trends and consumer/customer needs to drive our product and category strategies. You’ll bring a creative flair to identifying growth opportunities and developing category management plans that deliver the right product range to the right customer—meeting both customer and business needs.
Your category plans will incorporate our commercial strategy, supporting both our Own Brand and Branded business, while integrating our various channels and sectors. You’ll take ownership of category collateral assets and oversee their execution through the Campaign & Activation team. The role will be working cross functionally with several other departments both internally and externally including Buying, Marketing, Technical, Sales teams and Suppliers.

* You have excellent influencing skills
* You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable meeting deadlines
* Creativity and ‘thinking outside the box’ are key—you demonstrate innovation daily, inspiring colleagues and customers to adopt new ways of working
* Lastly, a relevant degree or category management experience is required for this role, and a passion for food is a definite advantage
