Functional Overview

To deliver better, more creative and cost-effective solutions for our business, we are growing an in-house agency team, to support the Global Asahi brands and local market activities. As part of this model, we need an experienced Senior Client Partner to support several markets activities and Global brands.

You will work alongside creative, social and digital teams to deliver excellent marketing solutions for our brands and markets. Our primary focus in our first 2 years will be around excellence in digital and social. We have set an ambitious goal for the IHA, growing over the next 4 years and expanding our remit and capabilities. You will be helping with that growth, delivering solutions that can be utilized across our global brands and local markets.

As the Senior Client Partner, you will be the lead contact between the markets, brands and the in-house agency. You will not only have excellent campaign management experience, great people skills but also have a strong understanding of global marketing; including strategic, creative and production processes.

You will perform an integral role in the in-house agency, overseeing a team of account managers in various markets, supporting on end-to-end delivery of campaigns ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high quality while also ensuring we are operationally efficient and effective.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work and supporting the team. You have a passion for the consumer, using channels and content to connect with them in order to build and facilitate communities for brands. You have a strong experience building brands in multiple channels, an ability to influence key stakeholders. You have proven success in delivering to task and consistently meeting KPI’s.

You will also be responsible for managing your team effectively, this is a Global team, and many roles sit in market, so bringing people together, building strong relationships with the markets and ensuring we are delivering to expectations to senior members of the business is a key part of this role.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

1. Lead your key accounts, brands and markets, ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget, and to our high-quality creative standards.
2. Build great relationships with the markets and their brand teams, while effectively collaborating with external agencies and 3rd parties.
3. Manage your teams’ financials and agency status, including COVI, ROI, KPIs and team capacity. Reporting this quarterly.
4. Track project deadlines and capacity to ensure we are in line with expected delivery, flagging to clients if additional support is needed.
5. Lead and manage projects; Delivering campaigns that are successful, leaning into our overarching brand strategies, and business objectives.
6. Be confident at building creative, social and digital plan presentations, and be a strong presenter of those plans and activities to the brand and marketing teams.
7. Work closely with the market teams to develop detailed quarterly scopes and SLAs. Agreeing WOW, team structures and deliverables.
8. Drive efficiencies and identify opportunities for cost savings including any technologies or processes that can be improved.
9. Be a champion of the IHA processes, ensuring we are following key structures such as reporting, post project evaluation, feedback loops and communication protocols.
10. Lead, manage, motivate and mentor a team of direct reports, to a high standard, bringing passion and can do attitude, offering support and a willingness to get stuck in where needed.

What You Bring To The Table

11. University degree
12. At least 6 years working in an agency, or brand / marketing role.
13. At least 2 years working in leadership roles.
14. Experience working with global and local markets.
15. FMCG experience advantageous
